The Terra and Aqua satellites have an accuracy rate of some 50 percent in detecting hotspots.
As many as 29 hotspots were found in Riau, nine in South Sumatra, eight in North Sumatra, five in West Sumatra, two in Jambi, and one in Riau Islands.
In Riau Province, four hotspots were detected in Kampar District, three in Siak, two in Meranti Islands, and one each in Rokan Hulu and Indragiri Hilir.
