Pekanbaru (Antarariau.com) - Two flyover projects are under construction in the Riau provincial city of Pekanbaru to be completed in 2018, a local lawmaker said.
"Certainly we are optimistic , the construction of the two flyovers would be completed in in 2018 as scheduled," Markarius Anwar of the Commission V of the regional legislative assembly said here on Monday.
Markarius said originally the plan was to build underpass at the SKS cross road in the city but it was later changed with a flyover with simpler design.
The cost of building flyover is cheaper than building underpass, he said.
The cost of building the two flyovers is around Rp240 billion .
